Butterflies and CHA

Hello and hope you're having a good weekend!  It dawned on me that I hadn't made a tag this year yet so I thought I'd better get some practice in :) This tag uses Distress Inks and Stains for the background and the small butterflies (which are from a Martha Stewart punch) and the stamps are an IndigoBlu set called Sarah's Choice.
The buttons and large butterfly were just floating about in my stash, although I think the butterfly might have been a spare for a project I made at a workshop!  Always worth hoarding things til later ;)  for example, the clip in the centre of the butterfly is from a Scrapagogo kit.
Our Scrappy Tree girl Kristin is going to be tweeting live from CHA on Sunday, so keep in touch with us through our Twitter account and let us know what you want to see!

Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting!

That is beautiful. The embellishments look gorgeous against the dark background.

What a lovely tag, full of fluttering movement and pretty Spring colours against that mysterious background!

Super cute. What do you use the tags for? They could be used on a scrap book page....what else? I'm not good at thinking of things like this...

Thanks ladies!
Hi Emily - you can give them as bookmarks, use them as gift tags, I often make a tag instead of a card to send to someone because I prefer making tags :) Also if I make one I really like I'll put it on a shelf for decoration for a while :)
I suppose you could even display one (or a set) in a frame if you wanted to; in the past I've made a set of three that were joined with hinges so that you can stand them up as a display piece.
Hope that helps!
