Little diddy printer trays!

Hello and happy Friday! The project I have to share with you today is a class project from a Hels Sheridan workshop I went to last weekend at the Stamp Attic - this is my first printer tray and it was soooo diddy!  It's a Tando Creative chipboard tray which we inked and added lots of little embellies too - lots of fun! More details here at Hel's blog on the methods we used, but they all looked so different - brilliant class!

Thanks for visiting today :) going to enter this in Hels' Sunday Stamper challenge too :)

I've also posted at The Stamp Attic blog this week, go take a peek and let me know what you think :)

Have a great weekend!

Happy scrapping

Living through Memories

Hello, I hope you are all having a wonderful Summer. This year my husband and I are having a Stay-cation, and although I will miss the thrill of packing and counting down the days for a new adventure, I am grateful for the times we did have a chance to take a vacation and visit family.

I've expressed my love for scrapbooking in a lot of ways, these days I love it because I can look at my layouts and re-live the fun moments from past vacations.

Today I'll just go back to the Beach ;)

Paper from My Minds Eye
Sketches from: 28 Sketches by Lisa Day at Big Pictures.

Paper from Studio Calico

That was fun :)

Hubble bubble...

Afternoon!  Today I have a properly grungy tag to share with you LOL I saw these three wood mounted vial stamps ( I think they're Wendy Vecchi) and though that they just needed to be on a lovely grungy brown tag...
I used some Tim Holtz stamps for the background, and lots of lovely Distress Ink and Distress Stains :)
I finished up with some string dyed with Distress Stain to make it look a bit grubby :)

Have a great weekend, I am off to the Stamp Attic tomorrow - hurrah!

A few toilet paper cards! :)

I love to recycle (or upcycle or repurpose, whatever the right term is) and our DT member Diana has inspired me to use toilet paper rolls instead of throwing them away.  She's made beautiful toilet paper roll cards and I'd like to share the ones I made today.

These were the perfect campground crafting project.  Since my family is camping almost every weekend, I try to bring some small things that I can work on outside.  These were fun and pretty easy to work on outdoors.  Since my supplies were limited at the campground, all papers were from My Mind's Eye and all stamps were from them as well.

The following stamp on the tag was the only exception and put out by Stampendous.

I was thinking these would also be good gift card holders if you put a glue dot on the card before mounting on a pull out tag!

Try one today and see what you think!  Thanks for coming by today!

Collage tag

Hello and happy Friday!  I've got something a bit different to share with you this week (yes I know it's still a tag!) - this week it's completely without ink!  What's this I hear you say?  Well, I was having a rummage in my boxes of scrappy stuff, which has been somewhat neglected of late due to my ink obsession (oops!) and I found some magic mesh and a K& Co collage pack and all sorts of lovely goodies :)
I added some butterflies punched from glassine with a strip of gold Stickles in the middle; I think my favourite one is sitting on the little peg :)
Please excuse the photos, afraid my camera ran out of juice before I got all the pics I wanted! Typical :)

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, hope you get some scrappy time!

Razmatazz!

Good morning! Happy Saturday! :) My tag to share this week has this lovely Wendy Vecchi top hat by Blossom Bucket, I really liked the thought of adding a bit of razmatazz to to my tag LOL

The background stamp is from the Stampers Anonymous Remnants set, with some masking tape underneath which I stamped with a background from their Steampunk set.  Lots of lovely layers of inking, topped with some picket fence ;)

I added some film strip to the top and bottom with some gold Stickles, and a pin, bingo piece and button from my stash (not sure where they're from LOL) and some red ribbon.

I also posted at The Stamp Attic yesterday (here's a sneak peek) so stroll over there and leave me some love if you like it :) thanks!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
