NSD tag challenge winner!

Happy Monday to all :) today we'd like to announce the winner of our day long tag challenge on National Scrapbooking Day this past Saturday - Erica!!  Erica, thank you for taking part and we'll send some goodies out to you soon :)

We'd also like to remind everyone that it's not too late to join in the challenge fun! This week's challenge is to join in our postcard swap by midnight on Saturday (California time!) - any theme that you like, but the card should measure about 4"x6".  We may have to match you with an international swap partner so be aware before you enter!  Embellish to your heart's content but make sure it can fit into an envelope :)

Let us know by midnight on Saturday through one of our platforms (comment on the blog, message on Facebook, tweet on Twitter or e-mail at 'thescrappytree' (at) 'hotmail.com) that you are ready to mail yours out and we'll give you the details of your swap partner!

Tags ahoy!! Your chance to join in :)

Today I have two more tags to share with you, and a chance for you to get taggy with us for National Scrapbooking Day tomorrow!

These tags were inked up with spray inks and lots of water with some flourishes in brown StazOn and then embellished :)

This first tag uses some Tim Holtz stamps and a few SEI travel themed die-cuts, and is outlined in black and white Posca pen.

The second tag has a Kaisercraft clock rub-on in the centre, some Crafty Individuals acetate wings, some Tim Holtz sprockets and game spinners and a sentiment stamped with those little letter stamps you can pick up in the craft shop :)  also outlined in black and white Posca pen (love love LOVE these!)

And now your chance to join in! We know a lot of you will be busy tomorrow taking part in challenges for National Scrapbooking Day and we thought we'd join in Scrappy Tree style!  We challenge you to create a tag during the day tomorrow, and by the end of the day add a link to a picture of your tag in the comments of tomorrow's post, or send a pic to thescrappytree (at) hotmail.com (end of the day means midnight on Saturday in California!)
