All About You week 2

Hello, Diana here continuing our “All About You” theme projects.

Today I‘ll share two layouts I made. The first one has a theme we can all relate to: Our Craft; rather it is art journaling, scrapbooking, card making etc. Journal about why you chose that particular craft and how it makes you feel

To add an image I took a picture of a few of the mini

albums I’ve made. The papers I used are from Glitz Afternoon Muse collection and a KI Memories Sew Cute Calendar.

I used random embellishments from 7 Gypsies, Prima, Pink Paislee and Making Memories.

My second layout theme is a recap of the first half part of the year, highlighting my favorite parts of it. It’s unbelievable how we are already past midyear.

Tha papers are from Sassafras Lass and Cosmo Cricket. Embellishments from Jenni Bowlin and Pink Paislee. I used Glimmer mist on the Pink Paislee mistable scallop ribbon.

I hope these themes inspire you to make a few layouts.

Before I go I would like to share with you this FREE class at Big Pictures, check all the details HERE I am signed up, I love getting inspiration from talented ladies :)

Have a great week.

Challenge

Another month, another challenge. This time we will focus on the smallest and fluffiest members of our family.

I have so many photos of Sammy, and I’m slowly making layouts to put in his album.

This one will be the first page of the album.

All these layouts are 8”X8”, and I used sketches from NSD at Studio Calico, I did not win the prize but I was able to complete a few layouts.

A couple of double pagers.

All the pattern paper and most of the embellishments are from Basic Greys Max & Whiskers collection.

Now it’s your turn to make a layout or project of your furry friends, link them here or join us at our Scrappy Community and post them in our Let’s Scrap Group.

On June 29th I’ll show them all here with a link to your blog.

Happy Scrapping

Layouts

A few weeks back I posted a challenge about making a layout using less then 5 types of non paper embellishments, this is not easy for me because I am guilty of over decorating my pages, but I managed to make this layout using only: gems, ribbon and a glitter sticker.

The following beautiful layouts were made by two talented members of our Scrappy Community

Michelle Unruh

Michelle used only a gem flourish, and she rocked her Cricut machine.

Jean Marmo

Jean used corks and a bright flower that looks amazing on her page.

Beautiful!! thank you ladies for sharing with us your wonderful work.

I’ll be posting another challenge in a couple of weeks, and we would love for all of you to participate, so please leave a comment and let us know what kind of challenge would you like to see, all suggestions are welcome.

That’s all for today, hope you all have a great day!

Collage Photos on Layouts

Hello! Diana here, excited to bring you my first post.
I would like to share with you my latest obsession “Collage Photos”, when I scrapbook I frequently add lots of photos to my pages, that is because for me scrapbooking is a way of documenting events that happen in my life and most of the time I need more then one photo to tell the story.
To make collage photos you can either order them at snapfish.com like I did or if you print your own photos and have a computer program that allows that option have fun creating your own.

Here is an example of a double page layout I made

I was able to add a total of 12 photos from this day we spent at an Apple Orchard. I also like how the collage photo looks on a single page layout.

Having the photos all grouped in a 5X7 frame allowed me extra space to add more details to my pages without covering them up with bigger photos

Supplies used:
Pattern Paper-Making Memories
Cardstock-Bazzill Basics
Die Cut- K&Company
Border Punches-EK Success
Ribbon: American Crafts
Flowers: Maya Road
Glittered Chipboard Shapes: Making Memories
Alphas-American Crafts

I hope I was able to provide some inspiration for your next layout, come back tomorrow and I’ll show you how I used collage photos to make the pages of a 6”X9” Album.

Enjoy your day!
