Time for some cheap and fast projects! All of these notepads, composition books and journals were purchased for $1.00 at various stores (Walmart, Michaels and the Dollar Tree). We all need someplace to take a note, create a shopping list or to collect our thoughts and goals - why not make it a gift! Each is lined with pattern papers and complimenting embellishments. Time spent was about 10 minutes per piece, depending on the treatment, see below for a little more detail and a few ideas. Enjoy! These two books are covered in Kraft Kuts pattern papers, inside and out, Making Memories brads and some complimentary ribbon fibers. For the larger journal, I painted the edge by the binding with gold marker so it would blend with the papers. The fibers are running inside the front cover, attached with glue on the inside.
Don't forget to come back tomorrow for more great ideas and a Holiday giveaway! Have fun creating, thanks for visiting.
Remember - don't worry, be scrappy!
