We knew he needed us because he followed us around the day we went to look at cats at the local rescue group's cat house. He is definitely my husband's cat.

Aoife is a street-minded calitabby. She's got IBD, so she requires some extra care. She's also a former feral, though you'd never know it at night when she asks to climb under the blankets with us. She's some a long way over the last several years.

Rory and Aoife were both "death row" kitties who were rescued by no-kill organizations.

Fiona is the first pet I ever had on my own, and I loved her dearly. She also had IBD, and complications from that led to us having to put her down in January 2005. She was a true princess and is the reason my dog-lover husband now likes cats. :) She was also a rescue. I brought her home because she was the loudest cat at the kennel. Fiona was quite a talker!

-CoriTroylethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09978892274301404406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-158198159098787708.post-68697257857594754282011-01-10T04:43:40.634-08:002011-01-10T04:43:40.634-08:00This comment has been removed by the author.Troylethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09978892274301404406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-158198159098787708.post-60536264960147528932011-01-08T16:56:26.942-08:002011-01-08T16:56:26.942-08:00Lovely challenge and what a wonderful cause!
